Here's Peter's take on it all:
'Well what could only be seen as the hardest day and night of rallying I’ve done in a very long time, it’s with great joy that we finished under trying conditions. 38deg heat, 3 flat tyres, a broken alternator and heat stroke to boot. We did the longest night stage with only a torch to see where we were going. We had 3 flats during the day stages. I can only say that Michael Valantine is a true legend in the determination to finish shone through'.
